Falcon Nest - made for the Peddie Parents Association auction to support by daughter's school

Hello Sunshine, the first quilt from Project Fig Tree Harvest, an effort to use my extensive stash of Fig Tree Designs fabric.

Keep Calm And Sew On, made from a California Girl charm pack (Fig Tree for Moda fabric line) using the pattern Spools by Thimble Blossoms.  I resized the block to make it smaller in order to use the charm squares.  The original pattern calls for a jelly roll.

Humility, using a block I call Magic Eight Square (tutorial for block here) and made from a Moda fabric collection called Lately Arrived From London (Barbara Brackman) using a layer cake and some yardage for borders and binding.

Christmas Stars - I have a tutorial for this block on my blog here; the block is a variation on the Ohio Star block.  I used fabric from my stash, not from any particular fabric line, just a mix of shades of green and red.  I used a single tone-on-tone red for the sashing, and binding and a single fabric for all of the background and border.

Boughs of Holly, made using a pattern called Crossroads from Red Crinoline Quilts.  I had been looking for a quilt design that could incorporate the holly border stripe (from an April Cornell Christmas line for Moda from several years ago).  I used odds and ends of red and green fabric from my stash for the blocks.

Summertime  - I made the Dresden Plate blocks using a Fat Cat ruler which is slightly wider than the usual Dresden rulers.  The sashing fabric is from the Blis line by Bonnie and Camille and the rest of the fabrics are from various Fig Tree Quilts fabric lines.
