I haven't been to Pottery Barn in years.....maybe I should visit them for Christmas! :-) I have not used sheets for quilt backing...but, if the thread count is close to quilting cottons, then it should work great!moosecrafthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15309739222008330155noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7899457187638841994.post-51022770108921659042019-11-06T15:29:28.722-05:002019-11-06T15:29:28.722-05:00I do it all the time. great for backingI do it all the time. great for backingbarbara woodshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07824180957906837061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7899457187638841994.post-4445464707135899682019-11-06T12:01:06.612-05:002019-11-06T12:01:06.612-05:00I have used sheets many time. I also use the fitted sheet for a smaller quilt back.. just cut away the elastic.<br />target sheets have worked great. I have even used a cotton rich (read poly blend sheet) when it was the perfect backing.babiesdochttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17232072201997984722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7899457187638841994.post-47546588987045859892019-11-06T09:55:01.768-05:002019-11-06T09:55:01.768-05:00Any of those would be really charming backs for a ...Any of those would be really charming backs for a quilt. I read someone recently who said they carefully remove the elastic from the fitted sheet and then use that also for a backing, albeit slightly smaller. Not to enable, but if you think you might have more than one quilt that would benefit from a festive backing....Robbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13963176990398590719noreply@blogger.com
